MISSION STATEMENT
In the name of God, the Father of us all; under the Lordship of His only Son, Our Savior Jesus Christ; and by the power of the Holy Spirit; we, the people of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, consecrate ourselves in holiness for spiritual growth to His greater Glory.
Our church’s mission is to spread the Gospel of Christ and to continue and enrich a community of worship in the Greater Hammond area, South Tangipahoa parish, and for Southeastern Louisiana University. Within this community we shall preach the Gospel, administer the sacraments, lift up prayers, study the scriptures, practice stewardship, enjoy fellowship, educate children spiritually, mourn losses, and celebrate blessings, all for the building up of Christ’s Body, the Church. Firmly grounded in the doctrine, discipline and worship of the Episcopal Church and ever hopeful of the Kingdom of God, Grace Memorial Church, dedicates itself to growth, and declares itself open to all who seek the Word of Christ and the hope of salvation.
