This program raises awareness, sets expectations, and helps us maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Certification is required every three years, and the Diocese requires churches to report who has completed the necessary courses and when.

Who Needs to Take It
If you serve in a role that works with children, youth, or vulnerable adults—or if you're in a leadership or supervisory position—you are likely required to complete one or more Safe Church courses.

What You Need to Do
Please review the list of required courses below. Not every position requires every course. If you're unsure which ones apply to your role, please contact our Safe Church Administrator for clarification.

If you're completing Safe Church, Safe Communities training for the first time, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to set up your account. If you already have an account, click the button below to sign in.Once logged in, return to this page to select and begin your courses.
